One Pot Crock Pot Rice Pilaf

?1 out of 5

Bland, Bland, Bland, Guest slcSD

I should have known before I started. This recipe has no herbs or spices. Salt and pepper would be a good place to start but once the food was cooked, nothing I tried could make it palatable. I ended up throwing it away.

Crock Pot French Onion Soup

?1 out of 5

Ick!!! No stars!!, Member kclamb

This tastes like oniony broth, because that's what it is. This recipe doesn't direct you to carmelize the onions first, which would go a long way towards making the finished product taste good.
